Our standards
- Accuracy first. Health and safety statements are checked against primary sources such as dermatology associations, the U.S. FDA, government and university health pages, and manufacturer documentation. We link our sources so you can check them.
- No invented testing. Our product guides are research-based. They compare listed features, specifications and safety guidance. We do not describe lab tests or personal trials unless an article says so.
- No copied prices or ratings. Prices and ratings change often, so we describe what products do and who they suit, and send you to the retailer for current details.
- Clear limits. Device and treatment guides say what a product cannot do, who should avoid it and when to see a professional.
- Plain language. We explain how things work instead of repeating marketing claims.
How articles are produced
ChicCheek is founded and edited by Rakib Sarwar. He plans and edits the articles. AI writing tools help with research, outlines and first drafts, and the editor reviews drafts before they are published, checking facts against sources and removing claims that cannot be verified. AI tools do not publish anything on this site on their own.

Updates and corrections
Rewritten articles show the date they were last updated. We revisit product guides when products are discontinued or replaced, or when safety guidance changes. If you spot an error, please tell us through the contact page and we will review it.
